About

Ryan Aungst studied graphic design and fine art at West Chester University, where he received his BFA in 1997. He began his career as a designer/art director at Matthew Schmidt Design* (MSD), a small print and web design studio located in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In 2002 he joined AGS, a large design-build studio located in Exton, Pennsylvania, and worked as an experiential graphic designer* (EGD). It was here where he honed his multidisciplinary skills in three-dimensional design and documentation. Over the next five years, this design-build socialization set off a huge growth point in his career. He later rejoined MSD as partner in 2008 where he continued to work as a designer/art director. In 2015 he decided to move back into EGD and joined the team at Exit Design where he currently works as a senior designer and documentation specialist.

Aungst is a multitalented designer whose work incorporates strategy, design and documentation. His projects over the last 20+ years have included the design of brand identity, websites, posters, publications, packaging, collateral, trade shows, environmental graphics, and donor recognition.

His clients have included Air Liquide, Cabrini University, GlaxoSmithKline, Inspira Health, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Lankenau Medical Center, Lehigh University, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Moore College of Art & Design, Nemours Estate, NYU Langone, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Philadelphia Phillies, Premier Research, UCSF, UPMC, and Villanova University.
