Hall of Fame athletes I followed and admired from the MLB, NBA, and NFL. Emcees from the Golden age of hip hop highlighted by their debut albums that were played and listened to on heavy rotation. Iconic characters and droids from the unbelievable far, far away galaxy of the Star Wars universe. All posters are 18×24 high quality fine art Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag prints. I work on posters at random, and as fresh ideas pop in my head, Fresh Ink happens.

  • The memories are a bit vague, but as a 5 year old in 1980, I can remember watching the Philadelphia Phillies win their first World Series championship. This moment marked the start of my passion for sports as a fan and it also provided me the inspiration to start participating in sports. As a fan, I became very devoted to the local Philadelphia teams, but more importantly an admirer of the great players throughout the MLB, NBA, and NFL. I feel extremely fortunate to have witnessed and followed so many great athletes over the last 45 years. The bold in-your-face statistics paired with great in-action imagery is my creative way of capturing and summarizing the careers of some of the greatest athletes to ever play their respective game.

  • My introduction to hip-hop started in the early ’80s when I discovered: The Fat Boys, Run-DMC, and the Beastie Boys. The beatboxing by Buff Love of the Fat Boys, the transformative and aggressive East Coast style of rap from Run-DMC, and the fun and energetic lyricism from the Beastie Boys were mind-blowing and extremely influential to my childhood and adolescence. My interest in hip-hop continued through the ’80s and into the ’90s when hip-hop hit a period of unparalleled creativity punctuated by amazing beats, masterful and poetic emcees, dope dance moves, and fresh fashion. My initial collection of debut album posters highlight a few of the most influential and transformative artists and albums of the Golden age of hip-hop.

  • Science fiction special effects in 1970’s Hollywood left a lot to be desired, until Star Wars, a relative unknown epic space opera hit the screens in May of 1977. The film was absolutely stunning and it quickly became a pop culture phenomenon, receiving high praise from critics and fans for its special effects and industry-wide influence. I became obsessed with the Star Wars trilogy and their respective toys at a very young age. The films had such a major influence on my childhood, that my interest of the films and the new TV shows continue to this day. This poster collection highlights some of the major characters along with some memorable quotes from the original Star Wars trilogy series.
